For the last dozen or so flights now I get signal loss errors compass errors and it drop me into ATTI mode.  It'll switch itself back and forth to ATTI mode and back to GPS lock but, it is still worrysome when it's just a little dot in the sky.  I connected it today to the DJI Assitance program and downloaded everything I could.  I don't see how any of that info is readable.  Any suggestions on what could be my issue?  I have not crashed the drone since the watertower incident and that crash was fixed by DJI so I would assume the Spark came back as good as new.

Better ask DJI. They might just fixed it, not replaced a new one. So worth checking with them

Sorry this is happening to you. Kudos to you for having a successful landing after each of those flights.

But in the link for the second flight you're showing us, I noticed that you took off with an inadequate number of satellite locks and weak signal strength. Some of the posts I've read recommend waiting until you're locked on to at least 10 satellites and having at least 3-4 signal strength bars lit up before taking off. All that aside, the outcome was still good.

What concerns me is that message that says Other (9). Sounds to me like your Spark needs to be looked at by DJI.

I've gotten the Linking cancelled due to shooting timeout error when taking a Pano. One of the causes might be a gimbal obstruction in that a tiny piece of debris may have gotten lodged in there and kept it from moving properly. If you have a gimbal cover on, it can also cause that error because the gimbal cannot move freely enough. While I was never able to find an exact cause in my situation it hasn't happened again. I know the Spark takes these types of images in a specific sequence so I'm wondering if a lack detail between two images in the sequence can trigger that error because there's nothing to lock on to? The latter is just a guess on my part because I was trying to take a pano when there was snow on the ground.

I did take off without a GPS lock because I was comfortable flying it in ATTI mode just like I would when I fly indoors.  I wanted to take it up to about 40 feet just to take a picture and then land.   I figured it would gain GPS lock and update the RTH position in flight.  I was more concerned with the Other 9.  I hope this issue is something like software related that I can take care of since I am going to Florida in May and was hoping to take the Spark!!

In the back of my mind I thought that was a possibility -- that you felt comfortable in ATTI mode. Good for you! That Other (9) error is weird. I hope the solution for that is a simple one and that it gets resolved soon.

Also it seems with every flight I have to manually adjust the gimbal to get it level with the horizon.

Have you tried disabling both Bluetooth and Mobile Data on your phone when flying? Sure helps a lot with communication issues and video lag problems. It's also been mentioned around the forum some times.
