-Hii phantom kings and queens
I have a second Phantom 2 with no Gimbal on it.. And i want to MOD this flying bird alot.
What do you think i should do with it? now it is stock P2.

I will post a picture of it to let you see what i did with it, but before that i want you to deside what mod should i do to it?

-i was thinking of making retractable landing gear and put some stickers or vinyl wrap on it? please feel free to help and give some tips.

Hi Miaz, not mine. Just a couple of favorite examples, to give you food for thought.

I would rather have something completely unique and individual, than a copy of someone else's work.

All though the skin from "Weeds" the television drama, is appealingly green. Wicked grin

Go to a local model or hobby shop and check the paints, for fluorescent colours, available.

Mine is still naked. But it needs a new coat. Haha

Neoprene coverings from phantom rain offer a great visual in the sky and offer numerous benefits,   Impact , rain, and keeping the phantom parts locked into place.   
Comes in 3 different color schemes.

The vents were moved to the under sides of the arms, with the newer Phantom 4.

Depends what else was in the field. Haha


That's why keeping your VLOS Is important.

It's not the color of my drone that saves it, but my Lume Cubes, which are like mini beacons.

Yes, I'm often in a large green field, all of my own sewing. Haha

That's also part of the preflight check list. Preparing the pilot for a most enjoyable experience, every time.

I'm not sure how much hot air venting actually goes on, with those arm vent ports.

They must have tested them in wind tunnels... ;-)

Im no aeronautical engineer or have any speciialty in aerodynamics but the way it looks to me is the down draught from the props causes a slight low pressure at those vent ports kinda like a ventury effect this causes air to be sucked out of those ports

Funny too, I have a couple of glass pipes, made by Stillwater Venturi. ;-)

I like how they designed these drones, arranged the motors and props, to pull the hot air out...


Works very well. No exhaust vents required....
