Hey guys, I just got my Mavic air a couple days ago and it is unbelievable!! Was wondering what software or app you guys use to edit footage on your MAC.

I keep a list of commonly used video editors here.

iMovies - basic, simple, 4K compatible and FREE
For more professional editing you can invest in Final Cut Pro.
These are the two most popular options for Mac's but there are loads of others too in the app store.

Yup if you have a reasonably powered iMAC just try using iMovie as its already installed in the Applications folder. Once you've reached the point where you feel its limited and limiting, you'll already be in a better position to decide what to move on to.

I have a PC but my flying buddy uses Davinci Resolve 14(free App) on his MAC. It does a good job  editing.

If you are editing a lot and want more control over what you can do the most popular software for Mac will be Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro, I only have experience with FCPX and can say that it is exceptionally easy to use. the other thing to consider is FCPX is a one off purchase and Adobe PP is a payment plan.
If you just want to throw clips together and add some tiles and transitions iMovie is still really good free editing software.

Is Imovie a multi cam editor. And if not what would be a less expensive, or even free, editor that has multi-cam capability?
