I'm new on the DJI Forum and I would like to share my last travel-video with you.
I visited Raja Ampat islands (West Papua, Indonesia) on a 2-week kayak expedition so I decided to buy the new Mavic Air for one reason only: SIZE.
As a Phantom 4 owner I had doubts about the video quality of the little Mavic Air, but I wanted to take a drone in my kayak, and the size was crucial.
I've just finished editing this video and I have to say that I'm impressed with the quality of the Mavic Air footage.
Hope you like it and thank you in advance!!

My Mavic Air settings:
- 4K at 30fps
- D-Cinelike
- Style: Sharpening 0, Contrast -3, Saturation -2
- White Balance: 5500K
I used ND filters to lower the shutter speed (it was so sunny in Indonesia!), and I applied up to 3 different LUTs combined (depending on each clip).
Recorded in 4K, then edited (FCPX) and exported in 2K, but for some reason it's only available in Full HD (1080p) on Youtube.
OMG. This is very well done in every aspect. Footage: awesome. Edit: brilliant. National Geographic eat your heart out. you should hire this man.
Only one thing missing, narration by sir Richard Attenburough.
Really want to see more of this.
btw you have any ideas about drone rules in Raja Ampat?
Thanks ColomboPilot!!
