I would like to buy a 7 inch Crystal Sky, but Apps from Google Play Store are unable to be loaded so I am holding the purchase.

Please could anyone tell me if, and when DJI will modify the firmware to allow these apps to be loaded on the Crystal Sky. Thanks.

The reason why this system is enclosed is exactly to keep it away from all kinds of apps possibly interfering with the system.
The same applies to the P4p+ Monitor.

If you wait till they change it you might grow some grey hair in the meantime ;-)

Thanks Eric. That is illogical thinking on their part, I think. I have been using a Google Nexus 7 with access to Google Play Store with great success with my P3a and the Go app so why not with the Crystal Sky?

Me, and my three friends who fly Phantoms are ready to buy a CS each when DJI allow the Play Store to become accessible. We can't be the only ones either.  

So, until DJI modify their thinking, they are losing out of total of £2516 or thereabouts from us alone.

Re the grey hair. I already have plenty thanks. The next stage is going bald.

It wouldnt be a problem if they didnt delay their DJI GO updates after the App store and Playstore get it first

There is absolutely no excuse for DJI preventing CS users from logging into Google Maps. I am flying my EVO with the CS, having installed Autel's Explorer app. However, DJI has made it impossible for me to make full use of this $1000 monitor by preventing me from logging into Google Maps. This is extremely short-sighted on DJI's part … poor customer support from DJI is the very reason I went with the EVO and crippling the CS is not going to garner any new customers. Wakeup, DJI, and restore full Android functionality to the CS and you will see a lot of new customers for the CS!!!

The true reason is DJI save a lot of Money and install in a 1000$ device a 50 Cent CPU with no CPU performace at all.

CPU-Z displa the wrong Data.....

The 3288 ( http://www.rock-chips.com/a/en/p ... /2014/0504/484.html ) has more Power as the 3066 .

This app has been updated to the latest version on iPlayStoreDownloadFree. Go up there to download it.
