Has there been any solution to the 30 metre limited range in the goggles yet?It’s like being permanently stuck in beginner mode.

Start up your Phantom while it's connected to DJI GO. Once it shows it's ready to fly, connect the DJI Goggles.

Thank you. I tried that workaround yesterday but the controls were terrible, about 5 seconds of lag between control input and movement of the drone. Made flying very difficult and no fun at all.

Change PAL to NTSC and the lag will be gone.

Hi there, it is recommended to connect the DJI GO first, and then switch to Goggles. As for the lag issue, please restore the Gain&Expo Settings from MC Settings and test in an open place later.

That will be new issue if it happens under NTSC.

Well I took the goggles and Phantom out for a test run this evening, I followed the instructions to start up in the DJI GO4 app first then connect the goggles.
This worked perfectly for about 5 minutes then suddenly that awful lag returned. I timed it and there's 3 seconds between a control input and any movement
in the goggles. It's extremely difficult to fly like this and certainly not enjoyable. The Phantom itself flies perfectly well, it's just the image in the goggles that lags.
Reconnecting to the GO 4 app and everything goes back to normal.
