Ok earlier I mentioned that I have not been able to successfully install the firmware update the latest or others prior...I believe it has something to do with my Inspire being faulty. It will not go into travel mode in ANY FASHION  either
by the controls switch or the APP on android.
I do what the APP say's 'Remove gimbal' and so forth but it just wont go There is the sonar putting sound and all else seems ok

I have tried other methods on the forum but Beleive this is just a faulty hardly flowen bird

DJI-Autunm helped out another forum member with their's with same issue but I'm stuck with a Dodo that I cant even put in it's case!
Could I get the same courtesy? will tell

OR---Should I claim a full refund?
Not Happy as it is because it wont transform.

Another thing.....I notice you can start the take off sequence by going 'Lower left' on left stick -with- 'Lower right' on right stick or both thumbs
pulled down and out...Did it do this before on any updates? As I have only ever done the both thumbs 'In' and 'down'.

Don't forget you can manually wind the legs up or down via the screw hole in the bottom of the Inspire.

Thumbs in or out, Ive also done it both ways. Not tried it with the latest firmware but batteries on charge now   ;)

Hi I am here. You just did the upgrade?  Did 17/00 17/01 upgrade success?
If the light on controller can turns blue, it's VPS problem. If not, I suspect a mechanical transmission problem.

No success...according to results. But APP show's Latest normal?
This is and I suspect an issue like gybo102 had that you helped and supplied a file too that fixed the problem...

But his was solved.

You use the small bin file with no luck? {:3_55:} The one I gave to the user gybo102.

I did try it out....But as he stated it was for that Firmware version at that point in time...
So it did'nt work for this version.

Actually it's the same one.
I hate to say but if it doesn't work, the only solution is to send it back...You can send your name, phone, purchase channel to me(to autumn.a@dji.com), I can help to arrange it asap.

I'm pretty certain you already know this but newcomers may not, so I want to put it here for completeness.  The Inspire will ONLY transform when sitting on a hard, smooth surface, like a hard floor.  It will ignore the transform instruction if sitting on grass, on carpet, or any other soft surface.  When outdoors you can put it on its case to do the transform (but be ready to grab it since the case is barely large enough).

Interesting. I just sent my new Inspire to the LA repair center with the same problem after just three flights. The six week wait has begun :-(

Not working yet.............

This is what the results are.
The file itself is marked after each attempt...

"MVOM0Fw_damaged'

The results for the file 'WM610_FW_LOG_AB' is....

[00012263][17 01] Firmware upgrading start...
[00054819][17 01] Firmware upgrade finish failed (step = 2, err = 0x00).

Maybe there needs to be a new one created for this version of firmware?
