Are you allowed to fly in such places in BE?
I have not looked it up, but here in NL the rules are rather strict unfortunately.

Its depends, if the drone is more than 1kg you need a license.
Also in some other situations you need a license.
Some place if you gave agreement from the people on the ground or from the owner of the ground you can fly.
It’s all about the place and situation.

Best you can do is fly safe and not go to close to people or buildings.

Here in NL you must say away (at least 50m) from about everything man made.
That is the law at least.
The regulations say 'not over'. So technically 1m would be ok....
But not in built up area's (bebouwde kom). That is just not allowed.

Hmmm... it seems you have no clue about drone law in Belgium.
Under 1kg you can fly up to 10m above private property.
Your video is a Class 1 flight and you don't need any agreement other than the aviation administration for such flights above houses and buildings.

That's going to be a mall? I take it one story, but is it me or does the drone just make the height of the ceiling look a little low?

Yes, just 1 floor and 4 shops, its a small mall.

Here you can get 2 types of licences ROC light and ROC.
The first is not that expensive, but very very restricted.
The only thing it gives you is the right to make money.
But due to all the restrictions that is very limited.
(like only 50m high and stay away 50m from everything man made)

The second one costs about € 10.000,- and requires permits for all the flights that you can't make normally and has a lot of other requirements. (like you need 3 people all the time etc.)

So no, not for me.
