Found on Diggers Beach, the Bay in the photo center, North East Coast Australia.

I think it's safe to say it's flown its last mission. From the propeller mounts it looks like a P4 series.

I don't imagine, given the length of time the drone has been in the water, that the SD card will be in any state to yield any digital info?Although it looks as though the entire camera mount may be missing - in which case that's a moot point anyway.

It went for a deep dank swim with the fishes.


Clean it up, and make a mobile.

Actually, send it in for analysis, estimated cost and repair.

Give it a good clean and send it to DJI - if they quote a few hundred bucks to restore it then it will save you a lot more than buying one. At the very least this could be good use of spare parts if sold on Ebay

I'm liking the ideas here. send it in and get  quote.

By the looks of the battery i think you might be struggling to get that out without some serious damage to the shell.
All the screws will most likely be corroded and likely will break the heads off when you try and remove them even tho they are stainless.
Once the battery has swelled up to the point that this one looks like it has i dont think even the shell will be recoverable.
Put the hose on it, try n remove the battery pack for safety reasons (toxic) and use it for a paper weight.

Considering some of the trash I have seen on Ebay I believe you!

You will just end up wasting shipping cost, this will be a write off.....

Come on, scrape off the barnacles, clean up the algae, slap on a fresh coat of paint and you'll have yourself an excellent lawn ornament, weather vane, or wind chime

It is, but the section is detachable from the shell. It's a bit hard to tell, as the photo is of the wrong side of the bird, but it looks as though the entire gimbal mounting is missing from the airframe.

Perhaps an internal serial number may still be visible after a clean-up?   That's a long shot, but...And that's even if the battery can be prised out of its slot.

That does not look like it's up for another flight... ;)
