It is white.

It looks like white seems to be more interesting for birds

Interesting view... My thought was that seagills despersed when something would fly overhead... lol, Those are attackers.

Given the date today, I admit that I looked for Photoshop artefacts, it's that good. I gather you were flying backwards and they were chasing.

get a red skin for  your spark, or red sticker on top

So my drone is white, and right after this picture I brought her back in for a landing. The birds were attempting to attack. My original thought was to scare off the birds. Then after I watched as they got closer I could see the seagulls were not happy with this idea of me being in there space. I will try an edit the video and get it posted sometime this week. I also quickly switched to sport mode for the get away.

Very much so. I had to bring it in quickly as I noticed that the birds started getting unhappy.

Well, this is a situation I would not like to be in...they look very aggressive LOL

I was, if you look really closely under the birds left wing, you can see the bottom of my house, so I was rather far away when I started this shot. It is actually a picture I copied from the video while it was paused. No editing at all.

Sportmode is always good.
I think I made a curious eagle a bit more keeping distance in his couriousity, by moving in sport from left to right and such. Gave me the time to get it back home.

Seagulls do not like white Spark's, I also chickened out when they started dive bombing mine and trying to shoot crap on it! Apparently they do not like it if you go higher than them so maybe sport mode and climb is the trick? Does a red skin / sticker stop them?

Man, it must have been hard to pick out the Spark through all those birds.

Besides the awesome picture, it's good to see a successful escape story that the rest of us can learn from. I can't wait to see the video. I love happy endings.

That's odd, I can't see it. The link I see is the grey image that usually denotes a video has been deleted. I actually wondered if the authorities had taken it down for harrassing wildlife or something, not that I thought you had. Is it unlisted by mistake?

Was able to watch the video without problems. Terrific still shot and interesting video. Also had an issue with inquisitive seagulls a couple of weeks ago, landed ok but did not mamage to get any video footage.

I see the video now. Sport mode got it out of there pretty fast.

I think the birds may agree that you are in their space....  and perhaps dislike that!  Amazing stuff and truly scary!  This is a great service to other pilots, beware of airborne risks!  Thanks for sharing.
