Since updating to IOS 11.3 my phone or the dji go app cant see the osmo mobile .....any suggestions ?

its saying osmo mobile 2 not found and i am defo on osmo mobile from selction screen !

It is the Osmo Mobile the first generation right? May I have your APP version? Is it up to date?

Hi yea its first generation Osmo mobile and version is 3,1,30

Thanks for your clarification, please try to remove Osmo Mobile device Bluetooth in Bluetooth Settings of your phone and then connect to it again in DJI Go to see if it helps.

tried that , also tried on diff device its just not detecting it !

I have the same issue too, I even updated the firmware on my first generation OSMO Mobile and still didn't work
but very strange

my friend got an older version of IOS and he plug in my OSMO Mobile with his iphone 7
dectects right the way, that is very odd

I thought the latest and greatest IOS and firmware updates should work better than the older version, right?

I guess if the OSMO does not dectect or pair with my iphone
I am using the gimbal as a stablizer without the DJI app to take video
just use the iphone camera video to do my filming
does it still stablize my footage?

I don't know any other ways to fix it

but very strange

I resorted to a program called FILMIC PRO and it connects NO PROBLEM to osmo, it does not have the traking feature like DJI but they say its coming , you do have to pay for it it is £14.99 but tbh its worth EVERY PENNY has so much more stuff than the rubbish dji App..

Thanks Wobbles,

I will try out Filmic Pro, I don't mind paying for it.
I got it working last night, I was playing with the balancing handle and the knob
somehow I re-balanced the gimbal
and it discovered my iphone blue tooth connection using the DJI apps now
I don't know why it works now.
I think maybe the balancing has something to do with it.

thanks DJI Mindy,
I found it is very hard to balance the OSMO Mobile
when you attach the cel phone, there is no perfect alignment to keep it balance
the best you could do is try to adjust the balancing sliding bar back and forth until
you are happy with it
and there is no precise instructions from DJI of how to do it

I am glad it work out in my case without updating my DJI apps
I think that was the issue

I got a question Wobbles,

I don't mind trying out Filmic Pro app
before I buy the app
I like to know can this app integrates with the hardware
and use the RED color record shutter button on the gimbal
to start/stop recording videos?

i use a 6s plus and it works now , not sure if its region update on app store but i can see it and get it no probs
