Any way to turn off screen during recording? Or turn brightness down?

I had mine plugged in during recording to keep it charged and I noticed the screen didn't turn off.

Can you not just turn down brightness in your settings?.

One can, and I did.

To clarify, can the DJI Go app be made to do it automatically?

No unless you use a CS.

Cool.

DJI, can you pass along this request? Like a swipe screen up (or down or wherever) to turn screen off/dim?

Thank you!

Actually, the screen will dim automatically, this is a feature aiming to save battery, we will add the button in the future APP so that customer can turn on/off this feature.

Hi Mindy!

When the phone is not plugged in to an external battery, I noticed it dimmed, but when I plugged it in to an external battery, it did not.

Is this how it is supposed to work? Either way, having it appear in the app would help!

Thank you for your response!

It does dim when you are in timelapse mode.

That would be a great update!

Even when you are plugged in, it does dim in timelapse mode

I tested this again today and indeed it did.

Not sure why it didn't while I was filming the day before yesterday, but it dimmed with no problem this morning. =)

Disregard and thanks to all that replied. ;D
