Not sure how many aussies are aware of this.
But you can fly your phantom for commercial purposes in aus without getting an repl.
You will need an arn tho which cost nothing.

Although its terrible, the CanIflyThere app is somewhat handy

Not trying to be the drone police or anything like that. Just thought i would put those up in case peeps in oz not sure on the rules here.
We have many uncontrolled airfields here and yes you can fly near them just be aware of any aircraft that maybe coming or going.

Yes it is very handy i use it every time i fly

If you are a licenced pilot then you will already have an arn.
