I had 6 sets of TB 50 batteries all were working fine until I ran the latest firmware update now 3 sets come up with an error message see attached below.

I have recycle them running them down to 5% then a full recharge this was done twice 2 sets recovered until I went on a Job arrived on-site 3 sets came up with the same error message, So that it is 6 TB 50 batteries that are unusual.

Contacted DJI Support Not Interested because the batteries are out of warranty

Over to you DJI?????

Hi Tony, long time no speak. Just sold the S900/A3 rig for a I2

Anyway, I think there's a fix due for this, look for one of the sticky post on the forum. Trouble is, it doesn't help you out does it.

I've also got this issue with 2 out of 6 of my TB50's. Exactly the same error message .  Discharging to 5 percent as advised by the app has bricked the batteries from some. Mixed messages from DJI support about how to resolve it. There are several threads on this issue. DJI have admitted that there is a problem with the firmware but are giving out conflicting advice.

Hello Sir, I think the announcement in another thread has made it clear enough, we will release a new firmware to get it fixed very soon, please wait patiently and try the firmware when it is released. Thank you.

Yep, I have the same issue. Discharging to 5% then fully charging has not solved it.

The I2 firmware worked on the second attempt, now the battery appears to be fine. Flight test is yet to take place!

Sorry I was not clear enough.
I had no battery issues with previous firmware, except 1 cell was lower than the rest, but not low enough to trigger an alert.
I then updated to this weeks new firmware, this resulted in the above picture.

Then I re-did the firmware installation and this time it worked. Batteries are fine, aircraft flies as normal

Something does not look right with your photo. Cell #4 image appears to be zero but your total voltage looks to be correct. Not sure I would trust this information just yet. look at my example below (only one pack)
