Make sure when you register your drone, it's with faadronezone.faa.gov . and the registration cost is $5

do not register with federaldroneregistration.com where they charge $24.95 and require more info than the government site.

I did not check out but they already have my information. I think they're in the same businesss as everyone else, selling data to other companies.

Yeah, I checked one out a long time ago, $24.99 and you get a laminated ID card, 2 aluminum backed stickers for your drone with the FAA #, name and phone number on them. Can do the same thing with a $10 label maker.

I wonder how many people paid $24.99 for the registration.
I printed my I.D card out and laminated myself.

there’s a small pop-up on the lower right corner of the page showing names and location of people who registered in the last 24 hours. It’s a bunch of folks.

Great info. To bad so many folks are being over charged.

Yes, I visited .gov a few days ago and went back via google. I thought I was on the same site. lol

OH!  Thank you.  I got taken!  I spent the $24, but never received anything in the mail.
Do you think the registration I received as an email is valid?  I'll have to try and find out some how.
