Is the side clamp where you mount the camera supposed to be extremely tight?
I know this sounds silly but it just feels like I'm going to break it with the amount of pressure that I have to apply to be able to push the side clamp in and out.  I know you can adjust it with a hex wrench to loosen the side clamp up but the camera doesn't seem as secure.  

I'm using a GH5 for reference.  

Hi rpmedia, it does not need to be extremely tight. As long as the plate does not move, then it is OK.
