This is a complete overview, review with test footage of the Pgytech and Taco RC ND filters for the DJI MAVIC AIR. Making this type of test and matching all the light conditions it's tuff so take it with a dose of reserved thinking. Both the Taco RC and the PGYTech filters performed well. The PGYTECH ND32 filter have shown a bluish colour cast and i will try to test it again to be sure about it. Enjoy!

Good review. I'd only suggest to have more side by side takes between filters (same shot with same filter, ND16 for example, PGYTECH vs Taco RC). Maybe using waypoints mission you can have same angle to be comparable.

The best way to do this is to actually fly my 2 Mavic Airs in pair on the same fly path with the different filters. I should have a second operator for that to get it done smooth.

Good job on the test - but that blue cast on the ND32... did you manage to replicate it again?  So - out of all the brands you've tested (pgy, tacorc, frewell) how would you rate them in order of quality?

On the TACO RC actually the worst part is the bad metal box that is hard to open and the inverted placement of the filters inside.  But they do the job.. so it's only a matter of taste and what are you used to...

So leaving the storage issue aside (I have a set of taco rc P4 filters which are also 'upside down' in their case - although it's a fairly decent zippered case), would the pgy, freewell and taco rc be similar in terms of image quality? Of course I don't include the polar pros which will be on top but would be interested to hear your views on the others.

The FREEWELL and PGY tech will do a great job. All the tested do a great job and they do what are meant to do. Hard to test the actual image quality and even if there is an color cast (only the obvious one). So you will be fine with all of them.. this tiny things that i am mentioning makes the difference

Nice video. I really want to get a mavic or just a drone in general. Sadly my Spark fell in the ocean and I can’t afford to replace it as I’m a broke college student. I have a job but a new drone just isn’t in the cards right now. Any ideas on how I can raise money to get a mavic while being broke lol?
