I have a trip at the end of this month.  Heading out to Oregon for a few days.  I'll be in the area of the 'Tokette Falls' (shown below).  Anyone have any experience flying their drone out there?  I have a few phone calls in with the PARK Rangers office (waiting for a return call).  Got transferred twice because it seems no one's ever called and asked if they could fly around the falls.

Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to fly in this park (Douglas County, Oregon, on the North Umpqua River in Odleyld Park, OR).  

I have no idea but wish you a great trip, I hope they allow drones ;)

I"m from Oregon while drones are allowed and welcome state parks and most parks are NFZ. With the recent fires in the Gorge Parks Rangers have little patience for rule breaking.

Yes,  I checked the map as well (thanks for the reminder).  All clear there as well.  CHECK & CHECK....now, I need just to hope for some good flying weather.

Yes, I've seen the articles of people flying near the fires whiles firefighters and planes are dealing with the fires.  Idiots...and such bad press for drone fliers.  Everything's looking good to fly at this location though.  Very excited...

Enjoy, I’ve been to Oregon a lot in the last year.  I’m looking to relocate there next year hopefully.  Beautiful state, get some great footage and report back.
