Hello! Recently I discovered that instead of 2.4 GHZ mode, my remote is on 5.8 GHZ mode. I choose 2.4 GHZ and select channel and it says "It will restart WI-Fi and then take effect". Sadly after that WI-FI doesn't reset and nothing happends. When I turned of my remote it goes back to 5.8 GHZ. What should I do?

Yeah I do mean the one in the app.
I actually tried WI-FI resetting but sadly it didn't do anything.

The aircraft firmware is v1.5.40, right? Which mobile device do you use? Which step are you stuck in resetting? We will appreciate if you can upload a short issue video for better assistance.

The aircraft firmware is indeed v1.5.40
Mobile device is Huawei p9.
I go into the app > Go for settings > click on the WI-FI logo > I can see that 5G is active meanwhile channel index 149 is active, because it is blue > I click on 2.4G and choose channel > it tells me "It will restart wifi and then take effect" > after that nothing happends, WI-FI just stays turned off.
Going from 5G channel 149 to 155 worked for me.
Also after 15 minutes of waiting when it should "take effect" it started beebing like hell and turned it off. After turning it off it was back to 155 channel 5G.

Hello, I have absolutely the same problem with my brand new P3 SE. Plus the range of my remote controller is only about 100m. "Remote controller signal weak" and after few more meters "Signal lost" appears in red. This problems exist since the last firmware and app update. I have tried in different locations in Prague, Czech Republic and different mobile devices, but the problem persist. App: 3.1.30, Version: 1.5.40. Mobile devices: Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Android  6.0.1), Lenovo P1ma40 (Android 5.1).

the problem is with the 3.1.3 ........indeed a big problem after all the updates ...range quality did indeed becomes poorer...unless uses russian mod.......

Before firmware and app update everything was OK - switching between 2.4G and 5G was possible without any issues. Should be software bug...

Update: I just got the news from our engineers that the recurrence does not appear at our end. It is recommended to re-connect the WiFi after restarting.
