Hello,

I'm having trouble getting quality pictures out of the MP camera. I use the drone for work and we need high quality photos. But they all come terribly. I have tried all the tips from the web/youtube on focus settings. Calibrated the compass, IMU and Gimble. Here are two pictures of a similar area, one taken with the MP and the other with my 12 MP Moto Z cell phone. I'm hoping that the MP should be taking better pictures and there is something wrong. Both pictures were taken about 10 feet from the subject.

I think I might have solved my own problem. The DJI photos are in RAW format, it seems that they my not be displayiing all of the information in Windows 10 and are reporting as 960x540.

How are you focusing!

Glad you think you found your problem.
Any chance of posting a new MP photo for us to view?

I've had a little play with the MP shot for you and enhanced the definition and shadows to overcome some of that exposure but unfortunately M2Wair is spot on - this is a focus issue. Tap the centre of the screen to focus on the whole image. If you look at the frame around the window it is completely misaligned and jagged/out of focus. If you are having focus issues with the drone then reset the camera within the app.  

To focus I tap on the screen and I have also set the C1 button to center focus.  I no longer think focus is the issue. The images I uploaded were just snips taken of screen shots when the photo was zoomed in.
Here is a new snip of a jpeg I just took. This file size is 3727 KB while the first "blurry" photo was 17,856 KB. I think I just don't have a program to view all the data captured in the RAW format.

I uploaded that first "blurry" photo to Google Photos, which I think it still compressing it but it looks much better.

When I look at the info in Google it says it is a 9 MP photo. Does anyone know why it would not be 12 MP?

16:9 format? Use 4:3 and look if it change.

Yes, it was set to 16:9. Should I be using 4:3 for the highest quality?

The sensor is 4000 * 3000 so it will use the full sensor in 4 : 3 format.
