I've tried to tether my Phantom 4 Advanced Plus to my cell phone and I keep on getting a transmission error. I know the Phantom Advanced is only on 2.4 but I was wondering if there is a way to tether it. I had no problem tethering   the mavic pro  .. Thanks

Phantom 4 Adv Plus RC is not able to connect to the mobile device. It supports HDMI output. Thank you for your support.

The Mavic Pro has the ability to be controlled via the RC, or a wifi link to phone or tablet. For that to happen there is a switch on the Mavic Pro to swap between the two modes of control.
The P4A has no such option for wifi control.
