A lot of it depends on the processor speed and RAM available with the computer you are using.

No it should render no problem, mostly visible when previewing during editing.

I agree with QuadKid reply.
Had the same problem with my computer do to processor  speed. After getting a new computer the videos all look good doing editing.

Have you checked out using proxy/optimized media?

I don't use Resolve, but looks like you can Proxy editing
I have to do the same in FCPX and makes a whole world of difference in the editing process.
