Went to fly the Spark yesterday, was surpised to see a firmware update, just updated without seeing what was included. Did anyone else check.

There was also an app update, mostly for Mavic Air, but said bug fixes and simplified messages.

Can you check "About" page in DJI Go 4 when you are connected to the aircraft and pass along the details of your versions?  To do this, go into General Settings by clicking on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner, then scrolling to the bottom of that page and clicking on "About".  That should give app version as well as firmware versions.  Maybe pass along a screenshot of what you see?

Somehow mine downloaded automatically...I now have 4.2.12 (3110)

Thats the app update, I had that but yesterday this was a Firmware. Current versions, shown on the photo

Hmmm, that is interesting.  The .0900 update has been out for several months. Was it a full firmware update process you went through or was it the “incompatible firmware” versions message?

It downloaded a full process, really annoying in the middle of the woods. Luckily there was enough 4G to do so

This is just app update it’s been out over a week now, there was also app update for CS, you can set your phone not to auto download or check before leaving home.

The v4.2.12 version was released for iOS on April 9th as you mentioned.  However, I think the Android version of this update is just starting to roll out and may not be available to quite everybody yet.  I don't have an Android to check, but when I look at the Google Play store via a browser, it is still showing v4.2.8 for me.

It wasn’t the app update. I had done this before I left home. This 100% was within the Go 4 app.

Rustic17, can you extract the APK from your android and share  with us, please???

Sorry wasn’t sure about Android , presumed it was because 4.2.8was updated on CS which is android.

I'm running iOS. All seems to be fine with the Spark, so I don't think there is an issue.

Nice of them to update CS to DJI Go 4.2.8 since they are rolling out .12 for iOS and Android.  I would love to have the CS for the big bright screen that it is, but find it curious that it is always the last to be updated.

It’s a really great monitor and the fact that you can dedicate it to all your flying and your phone isn’t clogged up, but yes slow updates for this dedicated piece of equipment seems to be a bit of a dji shambles, again with no explanation.

No love for the spark *sigh*

Definitely, for at least the reason that 4.2.8 is starting about 2-3 times faster than 4.1.15. There must be a lots of enhancement that DJI is not telling us. I really hope the tremendous amount of memory leak and eventual crashes are also addressed in 4.2.x.
