I've had Filmora for some time, .. after looking at many options and deciding that most were way too expensive for the level of video production I do, I settled on Filmora. It is very easy to use and has everything you'd need to produce quality video. They have an active Youtube channel as well with lots of tutorial and other interesting content.

Thank you, I've been checking out the tutorials. I just purchased a Mac so I'm working with iMovie right now.

I've got an iMac, and Filmora runs great on it (and gives you a bit more than iMovie). Is this your first Mac? I was a Windows software developer for the majority of my career, bought a Mac about 8 years and am a convert now. Never slows down, crashes or needs reinstalling, I've added a bit more RAM over the years but my 2010 iMac is still running like the day I purchased it.

Yes my first but now Apple all the way. But I'm glad you said it runs on Mac. I think I will give it a try. IMovie  is really limited . I was using Pro Show 7 before my pc kicked the bucket.

I was able to score a fully functioning fully updated Adobe Premiere for free. I have been learning it by watching Youtube videos.  I feel it has capabilities that i'll never use, would you recommend I switch to Filmora?  I haven't looked into it much.
