Check out this link to MavicHelp.com   Located here is a list of the various approved devices with a column indicating the Brightness Rating for each.

The top end Crystal Sky is the brightest but a few of the Samsung phones are rated brighter.  FWIW, a brighter screen on a phone, when maxed out will drain battery really fast.  While there's no comparisons on that kind of measure, the CS screens use batteries with greater capacity than those in phones.

For the money I would go with a phone or tablet and use a sun shade. Worth thinking about.

FWIW, a few of the newer Samsungs are NIT rated higher than 2 of the the CS's.

Ah... you didn't mention which model.  Try the Samsung website for their specs, then share here.

Bill, CrystalSky monitor features an ultra-bright screen that is clearly visible in sunlight. It works better under the sunshine and you can adjust the brightness of the screen of CS. Please learn more info in our website: https://store.dji.com/product/cr ... w_bar&vid=23531
