I use a paid app which I'm not sure if still available in the store but i'm sure there are one similar.  It does all the transition according to music.  I can select the type of transition and clip highlights.  Downside is I don't have much control and have to always manipulate it to work as I want.  

I wifi the file directly to my iphone from Mavic Air.  I do the same with my photos on my IG @tanitotoro.  I want to buy a proper Macbook pro for editting but haven't justify it.
