Thanks for all the positive feedback. I've had to remove the images and details as I'm in the process of patenting and registering the design of this idea. Hopefully you will see them for sale online really soon

I actually think that is a wonderful idea.  Heck can you make for the Pro?  I would probably buy a couple from you if you did.  I would love the ease of access especially that in my case can only hold 3 batteries and I have 4.  So I usually put the spare in my cargo pocket which may not be the best idea?  I really like this.  I bet you would sell a bunch.

After seeing a guy's leg burnt badly do to one of those E-Cig batteries going bad in his front pocket, I sure wouldn't.

Maybe you could get your Mavic Pro to carry its own spare battery?

The two "fins" are just for the locking mechanism. There is additional resistance from the terminal cover to actually hold the battery in place. If I get time tonight Ill make a short clip showing how it works

It cost me quite a bit of money to get my original patent.
Unfortunately it did not pay off.  
Cost of raw materials and cost of forming key component made final price to high to compete.
