Whilst following the tips to install (in my case reinstall to try and correct a problem in the app) the DJI GO 4 App I came across a mention of "Offline Maps".
Hi, the Offline Map feature is not available in both of the IOS and Android devices at present. You are recommended to cache the maps on your device:
Connect your device to the Internet, open DJI GO4, go to the flying location on the map, zoom into the desired zoom level, scroll around on the map to load the map images in all areas where you want to fly.
Hope this can help, thanks!

You would think since there is so much high praises for the Mavic Air that this feature would be ready available for this first. I have a DJI CrystalSky 5.5 and sure could use it. So many people are not familiar with
caching options.
Thanks but it seems that the most popular drone in the world today also has the most buggy and damaging firmware as well
Hello HendrikjB,
I don't mean to say negative comments but I did something that help me prevent the bad of the last firmware.
I have a Mavic Air as well, I connected it to my computer and using the software "Assistant" I installed the second latest firmware to my drone and now I don't have any issues with it.
Of course that is not a complete solution. A complete solution will be DJI release a new firmware version but for the mean time I think its a good option (at least that's what I think).
