Any suggestion for a cheap (under 100 USD/ from aliexpress, banggood, ebay, etc) chinese phone/tablet that runs DJI go smootly?? any experience?

I will love to left it forever attached to my controller instead of using my own phone. Ideally with GPS and >5" screen, something like:

I just got this Huawei Elate from Bestbuy 3 weeks ago for $65 with a $30 cricket prepaid card i can sell and it works AMAZING! the screen is brighter and bigger then my Galaxy S7 and now i have a dedicated device that for my Mavic. I was also able to remove every other app and tweak it just for the DJI app. Another good thing is it stays in my Mavic case and holds it charge so i dont have to charge my phone everytime I am going to fly.

I found it from a thread on MavicPilots and everyone loves it. I am even on the newest app version and have no trouble for the 3 weeks I been using it. GET IT!!!!! One of the best purchases i ever made.

The other option is to get a cheap Iphone 6s or something

ahh that sucks but still a decent price for a dedicated screen. The screen is great and maybe even brighter then my Galaxy phone. and its a half inch bigger so thats nice. I love it.

yea thats very close to the same specs. Obviously each phone can run differently but it may be worth it for you to try...you can probably return it if you dont like it.

Thanks for the heads up! just grabbed one off ebay for $54 . Tied to a carrier, but who cares, it will never be used as a phone.

Hi, there. For better performance, I would recommend you use the recommended devices. Hope you find the one you want.

I have been using Chinese phones for many years. It is cheap and as good as the reputable ones. I am also using it for the dji drones. No problems so far.

What did you decide on? I was looking for a cheap dedicated phone for my kit. I saw this UMIDIGI ONE on Aliexpress.
