Actually this can happen at 10M distance, could be many issues like electromagnetic, heavy Wifi in the area, objects obstructing RC/LOS, I would try another spot that you know is free of these possible issues. Did you still have good GPS/Comps lock? 13 Sat's is OK , would be better @ around 16-19.

Well that's odd then, have you looked at your flight log using Phantom Help Log Viewer

This happened to me yesterday evening ON TAKE OFF! My MPP was 3m away from me in a farmers field where I have flown for years with no warnings popping up! The warning went away after take off and never reappeared again. No glitches, no signal loss and I went a mile out at one point. Very strange how these warnings pop up when there is obviously no issues to cause it.

Andy, could there be any chance of a bracelet or watch or anything else?
The reason why I am asking is that I have a Samsung Gear S3 and was wondering if I should rather take it off when flying or not.

I have a mechanical watch and my only jewellery that I wear is a platinum wedding ring - this is the first time it happened to me. I have seen Apple watches cause these issues - something to do with ferromagnetism. The recent GO4 update has something to do with warning messages and I think that has something to do with this.

Wearing watches and magnetic objects interfere more with the compass calibration than causing interference during flight.

Had the same issue tonight, KP readings fluctuated all day, between 2 and 9 and when I checked UAV the reading was 7

It appears from time to time on MavAir and P4Pro , IMO it’s a very sensitive sensor and nothing to worry about.

So, it's a feature I paid for!!! So I shouldn't complain...

Could also be your smart phone device.  Mine does this big time to my RC.  I have to put my iPhone in Airplane mode and have no issues.  When I forget to put in Airplane mode it happens all the time and almost no distance at all.  That is the first thing I would check as that was my issue.

There are many very sensitive sensors on dji drones, sometimes it takes some software/firmware to sort it out.
But your entitled to complain , whinge , moan , throw your toys out of the Pram jump up and down tear your hair out, if you have any !
If I had of realized you where just complaining, I wouldn’t have bothered to try to help. ;-)........

Tested with iPad mini in airplane mode, it’s not the iPad disturbing the MA...

Even this time, another place, 250/300 metres and the same warning...

I see you are really close to the water. Maybe your own reflected waves are creating an interference pattern? I know it's not common, but it's not impossible at all either.

EDIT: nvm...I just read your last reply.

I get this error every flight... sometimes multiple times and I've even had complete signal loss and I can see the Mavic Air hovering above me off to the side.  I'm very aware to make sure the antennas are facing the correct way on my remote too.  Sigh.  I basically only use the drone for still photos now.

I'm not sure I follow.  As an update to my signal problems.  Manually picking a channel in 5.8 has basically solved my issues with signal interference.  I still don't fly a long distance away so no real range test to talk about, but I've not had a signal drop since taking the drone out of AUTO for the wifi settings.

I find this message appears when I don't put my device in airplane mode.

I would just do a factory reset and re-calibration of everything (write down your settings first that you want).

Your right this is when this message is active, it is also similar to wind warning a bit sensitive.

Is because of design defects using enhanced WiFi technology
