HI : How do you change the channel of the remote .? Channel 20 -  Tahoe_Ed  said it was better for distance /

Open the app. Click camera. Click on icon that says HD. Select custom and choose your channel.

Btw, I tried Ed's recommendation and I ended up with terrible video quality. I had to set it back to auto.

A DJI rep that I talked to said that users should leave it on AUTO.  But the performance of any given individual channel is dependent upon other devices running on or near the same channel frequency.  So channel 20 may be great here, but not so great at your house.  19 may be better.  Or 18.    I'm not sure of the context of Tahoe Ed's suggestion, but it may be that CH 20 is the least-universally used.  But one should be aware that if they fly in an area where CH 20 is being used by another device, AUTO may again be a better option.
