If I'm not wrong, DJI's warranty on batteries is 6 months or 200 charges, whichever comes first.

The warranty period for MP batteries is six months or 200 recharge cycles - whichever comes first. That said, if you look after them in accordance with the maintenance guide they can last a year or two.

hi guido - i can help you a bit on this question to acw.
one year old batteries with only 20 charges should still work fine so long as;
1 it has been stored properly (ie battery must be discharged to 25%- 30%) during extended storage times
2. the battery has not been bashed hard (ie crash on dropped on hard surface)
3. during those 20 flite times the battery was not abused with continuous extreme discharge flying style

Maintenance.
in addition to what the manual says i will add that:
1. you should keep an eye for battery error warnings and go home immediately if any show up
2. always ensure your battery is 100% properly inserted (clipped in) prior to launch
3. occasionally do a visual check for swelling or indications of hard knocks. - you can also wipe the battery surfaces over your lips which will help to feel any bumps that your eye might miss
4. insect battery contact points to ensure no debris such as grass or dogs hair is laying across multiple contact points.
In the screenshot of my flight records below you will see 4 flights per day - each is a different battery.
2 of my batteries are 1 year 2 months (190 charges each) old the other 2 batteries are about 8 months old (35 charges each)
as you can see the battery performance in 190 charges vs 35 charges is very close.

Hi Guido, for Mavic Pro battery life, 200 charging cycles is suggested. If there is anything abnormal like swollen or damaged, change it if necessary.
