Guys, If you want to spend 5 minutes I made this at Ballito Beach Durban Yesterday. I was amazed at the amount of fish so close to the shore line, Enjoy.

wow that is some shoal of fish, crystal clear waters so for me  fabulous footage well done.

Mmmmmm fish and chips - now your talking mate Nice footage BTW - really clear but strange to see the fish that close to the shore and in those numbers - safe to say we are slowly ruining our beautiful oceans with all the pollution. The number of whales being washed up these days is eye watering!

Was thinking maybe breeding season, lots of smaller ones were there has well. Lucky the beaches down North of Durban and deep South are pollution free, Well come to think of it almost all are the same.

Not the beaches mate, the pollution in the oceans driving the fish towards the cleaner waters of the shores. We are banning plastic bags and cotton stem buds here in the UK. Millions of tons of plastic waste are dumped into the oceans every year and it's having a profound impact on marine life as is over fishing the seas. It needs far better regulation on a global scale.

Exactly - I want my grand children to swim in the shores of your video, not look at images like my photo with total disgust in how our generation let this happen. It's everyones responsibility but I'm pleased to see that political leaders are starting to act on it now

South Africa is a very beautiful country. The beaches are simple the best and so are the seasons especially in Durban but the Crime kills us here.

South Africa does look amazing mate from all of the vid's and stills I have seen. I must visit one day. I went to Kenya in 2007 and that was magical.

Pay us a visit, Great places to visit would be KwaZulu Natal, Durban - Nelson Mandela Bay - Mossel Bay - if you like good clean coast lines.

It is good your country is doing what it can.  Problem is yours is a drop in bucket.

China and Indonesia are likely the top sources of plastic reaching the oceans, accounting for more than a third of the plastic bottles, bags and other detritus washed out to sea

5 Countries Account for 60% of Plastic Pollution in Oceans - China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Mass plastic piles like that could be captured and dredge up.  Then barged to shore for proper disposal, problem is countries causing most don't see need.

Most of Durban beach has shark nets to protect swimmers.

Watching fish swim is not only relaxing but experts say it can actually relieve stress and lower your blood pressure.
