After a month or so with the Mavic Pro, I very pleased for the most part. The only complaint I have is the lack of a variable aperture. I'm surprised that even the newer Mavic Air does not have one. Anyone know why?

Maybe something for the Mavic Pro II?

I think it's a combination of reasons of cost, size, and effectiveness. f/2.2 is "good enough" for a 1/2.3" sensor. Adding variable aperture would mean a larger lens module (larger gimbal?), higher cost, and somewhat negligible performance improvement. Would it be nice to have? Of course. To me it's a sensible choice on DJI's part.

You would need P4Pro, it certainly would be great if Mavic 11 had it.
