Hovering over my mate landing a trout (I was a bit low...), he thrust his rod up into the rotors... what a mess!!! Tangled nylon round motors, snapped his $1400 Sage ONE fly rod in three places and the Air dropped into the lake like a stone!... Best part? After a few days infront of the campervan's diesel heater, she functions perfectly on all functions! All I had to do was recalibrate the rear vision sensors again as they had water in them.

I have racked up another 100 trouble-free kilometeres since it's swim... tough wee thing the mavic Air!

Tough props, Wimpy rod.  

Tough little Aircraft for sure.

Yeah I saw a video a while back of someone that landed theirs in a river for about 10 seconds.  Never stopped recording.  Took it home dried it all off and works perfectly.
