Flying the Tello for a month now and I noticed the battery percentage indicator no longer is visible on the Tello Application. At first using next to the battery icon there was a number in percent that constantly showed the percentage level of battery remaining on the Tello, now only the battery icon remains as before but no number showing the percentage?
I wasn't sure - was that just specific to my Tello? Or whether this has been removed altogether from the App?

I have another question about the app. I am using iPhone 6 and Tello app doesn't save the setting. For an example, if I change the image quality to High and change the bit rate, it will reset if I turn off the Tello and turn it on. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I've noticed that same settings reset on the Tello Application and it would be more convenient if the App saved your settings.

yeah, last time I updated it disappeared. Kind of annoying, especially if you need to know if you have enough juice to do a flip.

I hope they implement that icon in an upcoming firmware release soon. It just made flying until low battery warning more precise, now you just fun the battery down until you see just the red light flickering by the camera on the Tello.

I talked to Ryze support and seems like their engineers are working on this bug. Hopefully in next update...

Yes I agree, why would the battery percentage icon be removed as it was one of the most useful features when flying Mr. Tello?

I hope the battery percentage will be back on the next update
