Just a refresh on what mode users shoot in on the Mavic Pro. For a bonus, you can say all of your settings and why is it on that?

For me i shoot in manual mode, i try to keep my shutter at 1/50th on D-Cinelike and my custom settings are at -1 -1 -1. I am equipped with the Polar Pro filters ND4, 8 and 16.

I also set my white balance to sunny or cloudy.

Most of the Times I shoot manual, ISO 100, trying to get as close to 1/50. Using Polar Pro ND8/16/32, D-Cinelike. The Polar Pro filter calculator is a good help to indicate the correct filter. Also I set the white balance manual.

Idunno why i bought the ND4/8/16. 4 and 8 are pretty useless unless shooting dark skies..

Should i get a 32/64?

I shoot in automatic most of the time unless it's for someone needing quality semi-professional footage and in D-Cinelike.

I have to sets ND 8/16/32 and ND4PL/8PL/16PL
I did not use the polars (PL) that much because it is difficult to adjust to the sun for optimal performance.
I use the ND4PL sometimes in low light conditions (or film without filter) while I do not have ND4.

Most of the times I use 16 or 32. Last holiday I had extreme bright light conditions and would love to have a ND64.
You can download a free app calculator (search for Polar Pro in app/play store) and see what filter you need on your flying location and weather condition. Just turn your mavic on auto and takeover the settings in the app  and the app will show you what is best.

Hope this helps

Haven't had enough time to fly and play with the settings. There was one time I change the ISO and the outcome was horrible. It all depends on the time day of the day because the sunlight can always give mixed results.

Auto at the moment as still learning, but will give manual a try when I'm more confident on flying.  I always shoot manual or aperture priority on my DSLR, but you have more time with that.

I go with Automatic.  I bought my drone for Fun-ction.  Fly MPP when I can for ---
--- enjoyment (Fun part).
--- exploring and inspecting (ction part).

ISO100 RAW  I keep my shutter at 1/60th on D-Log and my custom settings are at  0 -1 -1
Record 4k at 30fps
White Balance usually 6700k.
My most used ND filter is Neewer ND32.
Also turn on Overexposure lines and also Focus peak threashold to normal.

I use my ND32 about 99% of the time.  Very sunny here in Nevada so that is how I can get 1/60 shutter while shooting 4k@30fps without being overexposed.

There is an idea for MP-2 or MPP-2.  An optional Polarizer that can be adjusted by GO 5+ App.
Or at least a connector with multiple outputs/inputs for add-ons.  Like say controlling belly release hook, adjusting 3rd-party PL, or 3rd-Party electronic ND filter.

Very sunny here in Nevada so that.

Tru Dat!  At least it is a 'dry' sunny, vs. mugged sunny.

Auto for me. But i’m still learning to fly, still getting to grips with filming/photos - getting into manual settings will come with time.

I use auto on all 3 drones, I use various Polar Pro filters to prevent over exposure but sometimes the P4 Pro copes without one.
