Delightd to have OTG with DJI GO 4 and had hoped that 4.2.12 would at last mean ditching 4.1.15.  BUT it is doing some odd things! Firstly if I use WiFi (which I was just testing) I get a blank screen. When I use OTG sometimes I get no feedback on what Spark is doing  but when I look at the video it has carried out all the commands! When I switch off the RC,GO 4 goes on telling me to land, that my battery which was at 21% is now at 94% and other oddities as well.
I do hope that 4.2.12 is going to be reliable and not end up with a fly away - I am taking it next week on a sailing trip and need to be confident in it!
Anyone else had any problems - but thank you DJI for listening and bringing back OTG for Spark.

No problems for me so far. Are you doing these tests indoors where there might be a bunch of wifi or other interference? Mine will sometimes transmit very poor/choppy video while in the house, but this has been with all versions of the app. I chalk it up to wifi or electronic interference of some kind since it works perfectly when I'm out flying.

Charlie, please tell me the model of your device. Did you try to change a mobile device for check? OTG cable is not fully tested and may cause some problem. Please keep us updated, thanks.

Elektra. I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).  I had NO problems OTG with 4.1.15, except for the annoying map issue I have previously posted abut.

No everything outside in a clear space.  Don't fly indoors - too noisy!!

4.1.15 :-)

There are a bunch of Spark owners that cannot even fly their drones with 4.2.12... They ended up downgrading to 4.1.15.  See the thread

Yep, but after downgrading, updating (unlocking), couldn't they switch back to 4.2.12?
