I updated to the latest firmware on a phantom 3 standard and now my drone is inoperable. I thried calibarating the imu and stops at 2%. also, thried to downgrade with no success, do I also need to downgrade the remote controler or does anybody know a solution. Thanks

Try to calibrate imu again and let it be because it can take a while be sure to put it on an even place and dont touch anything when it calibrates hope it work out for you

What are the details in the overall status (tap the arrow)?

How long did you wait during the IMU calibration? it should take up to 10 minutes and during that time do not touch the A/C - leave it in peace.

Not sure if you just repeat the Aircraft status as shown in the pic of #1 or if that is what it actually say in the Overall status.
You do see that you can tap the line for "Overall Status", notice the ">" and have some more details?

It look like you have the latest firmware in place, not sure if something in the IMu has been stuck, have you had a crash?

If possible initiate a factory reset of the aircraft.
Remove the battery and while supporting the gimbal give it a gentle shake and notice if any sounds of loose things are present. Hold it upside down and give it gentle knock.
Make sure aircraft is cold, not frozen but cold, then try repeating the IMU calibration making sure AC is placed on a level solid surface and make sure no movement or shaking is present.

I will leave the link active to the end of weekend. I found that the best way to perform update on P3Std is ->THIS<- described by DJI, after update/downgreade on SDCard you will find text file with process summary.
I hope the downgrade will helps you, let us know.

Did you format your SDCard before each try? there is a hell of information with bunch of different dates and results, hard to read it or worst to understand.

I formatted the card a few times. not sure why kept old dates or if that info is stored in the drone

Probably you are correct and all that info is kept in the drone.

For me the range do not depend on firmware version.  
Now I'm flying with latest firmware  which you can download here ->P3C_FW_V01.09.0200.bin <- from DJI webpage.

Can it be your upgrade operation was disturbed ? Did you charged batteries of all three components of the P3S system RC,AC and mobile?

ok this might help you i had the exact same issues and found that when my drone was confiscated they took it apart removed the sd card inside the drone and didnt put it back in when they reassembled drone...i took drone apart noticed the missing sd card and i replaced it and whala!!!! drone works perfect all errors gone your sd card probobly came loose i didnt even knoe it had one..

What FW file is on the camera´s SD card? May be it´s older than the current flashed file to the copter internal SD Card. If the FW-upgrade successful and you don´t need to upgrade any component of the P3S system then delete the FW file from the camera´s SD card.

the reason dji ask you about a crash is all the errors your getting can be caused by the internal memory card coming loose most people like myself are unaware of this memory card hidden inside the underbelly of your drone where battery compartment is.it can become loose its only held in place with hot glue,mine recently was removed when my drone was confiscated by faa ..when i got my drone back i tried starting drone up and i got all kind of errors just like the ones your getting once i put card back in all errors disappeared drone works perfect..so it just may be that your memory card came loose ...i had also thought it was because of a recent update but was wrong...check and see if ur cards in place.
