I connect my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 to the RC without issue but when I  connect the Lenovo Tab 4 8 all it does it charge the tablet.

If I connect other OTG devices to the Lenovo I receive notifications  just fine on the Lenovo but when I connect the RC to the Lenovo it  doesn't work. All it does is charge the tablet. wifi connection works just fine.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Has anyone expereineced the same issue with a different tablet where OTG just charges the tablet and nothing else happens?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Also, Developer mode is enabled. USB Debugging is on and MTP configuration is enabled. Still no joy.

Don't plug RC to Lenovo via OTG, but Lenovo to RC!!!
So first plug in client side of OTG cable to Lenovo, than host side to RC.
If you have two pieces OTG cable (like via USB A plug) again last connection must be to RC.
So not like one cable hanging from Lenovo, another from RC and connect in the middle, but first connect two cables, than to Lenovo and LAST one to RC.

RC is turned on in a moment of plugging the cable?
Also, direction of the OTG cable matters as it's not symmetrical.
When you connect other stuff to tablet, it acts as host and other peripheral is client (slave).
When you connect RC to Lenovo, roles change, Lenovo is now client and RC is the host.
So, make sure that host side of the OTG cable is connected to RC.

I just did it again.

I tried it right when I turned it on with the red light flashing

I also tried it once the solid red light was on without turning on the spark

And again with a solid green light and the AC connected to RC.

Still doesn't work.

I'm also certain I'm connecting the cable correctly because it works fine with another tablet in that direction.

Direction of the OTG is correct? You sure OTG cable is good?

OK. It does not ask to start DJI GO 4 when cable is plugged. Have you tried to start DJI GO 4 manually. WiFi needs to be turned off (and BT is also better to be turned off). Will it connect than?

I shot a quick video showing the problem.

I also tried starting the app first and then connecting to RC but that didn't work either.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions. I'd really like it to work with this tablet since it's super affordable and the screen is much brighter than my samsung. If it doesn't work, it's going back to best buy.

Also, I know that the OTG functionality is working on the Lenovo because I can connect the Samsung directly to the Lenovo and it is recognized. For some reason it doesn't find the spark.

I had something similar with my Samsung.  What I have to do is once everything is connected, Reboot the Tablet.  Doesn't make sense, but it works every time now.

Worth a shot.

Just tried that. Didn't work. Followed it up with a restart all connected. No dice.

I think I'm done wasting my and everyone elses time with this tablet. Really didn't want to dump the money into an ipad but alas. Way she goes.

My Galaxy tab A8 works too but it's too dim outdoors. How is your Tab 2 8 in the sun?
