Where can I find nice background songs?

On youtube.  They have a section for them on your channel page.  I think they are audio under the "create" tab.

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I used to download musics as welll! Very illegal! I didnt download from youtube b/c the audio quality is pretty bad to my taste.
To make things legal today we have deezer and spotify. Which I cant live without.

No, they can be downloaded at anytime.  This isn't a conversion.  It is just music that youtube provides along with the artists for use when editing videos.  I think they can be added after the video is uploaded but I always edit the music into the video as I make it.

SoundCloud. And make sure you check the non-copyright option. I like the electronic ambient type music for the background usually.

I regularly use tracks from Ryan Little. His tracks are free downloads from Soundcloud, he just asks for credit. He creates and releases a new track pretty much every week. They're very Hip Hop style, but without the lyrics. He creates some amazing beats that work really well sometimes.

This video lists several places, some are paid but there are a few good free ones too (I'm not doing serious enough editing yet to pay for music).  I didn't know about the YouTube music library until I watched this video, they've got a decent selection and I just used one this past weekend for a video, downloaded it and imported it into DaVinci Resolve no problem.

Thank you, this is incredibly helpful. Ive been wanting to add my own tracks to edits but havent found a good program to do it with, Ill try this one and report back on how it works...

First I think of a song or two that would fit the flight, or at lest somewhat then I search Youtube to see If the song is blocked or not. You would be surprised at how many songs are actually available and not blocked. Also if a particular song is unavailable or blocked by the artist chances are a cover or copy version is available by a diffrent artist. I then purchase it from iTunes and drop it into the iMovie editor.

From your channel click on VIDEO MANAGER Then click CREATE then click MUSIC POLICIES then Search your music artist or song title in the SEARCH, then just look up their copyright info and bam there you go. ...  Hope That Helps...Now lets see some cool video>>> I am able to use any song that I Purchase in Itunes.

I don't know anything about adobe Yet..

I did some online courses to learn these 2 softwares. I bought them in www.udemy.com . Its the largest online school in the world and they have a huge promotion in almost all of their courses, there are thousands of different courses. I paid around 10 dollars in each full course from begginer to advanced. I dont know if this promotion applies to US territory but if you are interested its really worth it to check there.
