In my case very fast response from DJI Support. Today my Spark will be send to Netherlads for further analysis. Now it's only waiting

Sorry for your crash, mate. The local team will take care of it and arrange an analysis for you since the drone is under warranty period. If it is a warranty case, we will cover the repair/replacement fee.

I recently bought a 3rd battery and there is a significant difference in the size of the retaining lugs compared to the original 2 batteries.
Whilst all three batteries seem secure with a tight fit and don’t seem to undo when pushed against the retaining lugs it still worries me that the two original batteries have much smaller lugs...
So as an extra safety measure I have used a strong elastic band to secure the battery.

Our supervisor should have contacted you right? The package has never been in our facility and our supervisor has provided you the UPS label, please send it in when you receive the unit. Our facility will take care of it.

Yes your supervisor contacted me. It seems that Neatherlads post tried to deliver my package on saturday when your office is closed. They didn't try to deliver it on next buissnes day, as for that they send it back to me (wich I thinh is very strange). For now the status of my package is "Send from Neatherlands" I'm still waiting but I'm getting no status update from 3 days wich gets me little nervous.

After 2.5months and 5 hr 29mins flight total time, mine just fell right in front of me as I I take off for 3mins. On a brand new battery on 2nd use, I checked all latches on the drone, battery and FW are all updated. When I swap batteries to charge it on the drone, I always listen for the click then test pull the battery to see if it secure. Also, when power on the drone 2nd press power button has enough pressure to lock the battery in place as a 2nd safety precaution before the flight. Which I didn't hear the click so I assume it's secured. I hope DJI cover my new battery and props.

We are so sorry for the mishap, please start a ticket here and send in the drone for the data analysis, our data analysis team will do their best to find out the reason, hope everything goes well.

Since the battery has been damaged, it is not necessary to send it in for the safety concern, we will help to attach the damaged battery in the case. Please don't dispose it at this moment just in case our team will need other info.

My new spark drone just ejected the battery in flight. Crashing to the ground cracking the battery the glass camera lenses and sensors on the bottom. Is this a common issue? And will dji fix it?
