Good evening guys since I've had the mavic air I've used iPhone 6 and also the Samsung Galaxy Edge 7 without any issues at all ever I wanted to get a bigger screen so I started thinking about a tablet went out and purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab a with the 7.0 screen and this thing has give me nothing but trouble from the beginning I have lagging video also video that just stops with black squares everywhere also from time to time connection is lost Big Red message at the top of the app signal loss in red the Drone does reconnect pretty fast but these are not issues I would like to put up with I'm thinking about returning the tablet anybody have any ideas or a fix before I do so

Do you have it in airplane mode? Bluetooth will kill your connection. Other than that your device has little to do with the remotes connection to the drone.

I've never used airplane mode before with the mavic air I've had this strong since it was released pre-ordered I will give it a try and let you know

Maybe check to see if Bluetooth is off on your other devices but on with your Galaxy Tab.

Yes Bluetooth was off flying in the same places are flown with my phone without any issue will update in about 15 minutes when I try airplane mode I'm going to test it right now

So now I can confirm for sure there was no Bluetooth on ever I didn't have any other phones with me outside with just a drone nothing else airplane mode was on and still same issues loss of communication signal loss video lagging

The issues you are detailing above is symtoms of insuffiecent ram/memory. Check the ram of your tab, the new go4 app needs at least 3 gigs of ram to function properly
