app version 3.1.34 (2898) iphone and osmo updated to the latest version

there is no solution as dji go is recording in 16:9 and your display ratio is wider, this is normal and by design.
use your native camera app for fullscreen recording.
you only need dji go for calibration, panoramas and motionlapses, everything else can be achieved with a decent camera app and the osmo mobile 2s basic mode without bluetooth connection/dji go.
