Mavic air is better than mavic pro.

Camera quality is the best on the Mavic Air. I don't need to do any editing and the picture looks amazing. (Range and battery life better on the Pro)

Actually, both of the Mavic air and Mavic pro are great drones, personally, the Mavic air is more portable.

But why start a new thread with such a 'statement'?
I mean, they each have strengths and weaknesses, depending on how you look at it.

One is for enthusiasts that make silly posts, the other is for professionals.

No, even the oldest Mavic Pro is better than Mavic Air in all respects except maybe the camera. However, I personally see no reason to change batteries all the time to get a little higher bitrate on my videos. Also, remember that Mavic Air's camera is not so light-sensitive as that on Mavic Pro.

Maybe there is a reason why DJI has chosen to call Mavic's little brother for AIR ?  Just a thought.

Without having both of them and being able to compare, such a statement is pretty useless. And as it appears you don't even have any of them. But even if you had, personal preferences and expectations are different. Therefore any of the two can be -the best- for different users.

MA and MP are two different aircraft. Both has good and bad points. Like apple and orange you can’t say which one is better. The valid discussion should be which one you like and why.

hmmm, interesting... I find both to be more useful than the other in certain situations. Like the Mavic pro at high-speed maneuvers has the ability to NOT lock out the gimbal whereas the Air has locked out multiple times.

So glad I never bought an air.....

My Dad always told me there is an ass for every seat, as there is a pilot for every drone !
