I never knew scorpions are fluorescent.  I only thought animals in the ocean were.  It was really cool to see. We need to get black lights on our drones don't you think?

Why Scorpions glow under UV is due to the presence of fluorescent chemicals in the cuticle ( a very thin but super tough coating in a part of the scorpion’s exoskeleton) .
Here in AZ we have a tiny one called the Bark Scorpions. Supposed to be one of the more poisonous ones.
Looking forward to seeing more vacation footage.

I sure did.  Got a UV flashlight for finding them.  
Moved to new place, and never before seen so many scorpions.
Even though I have lived in desert areas.
Scorpions are hard to kill and control.  Only a few insecticides work on scorpions. Insecticide has to kill spiders to have any chance at killing scorpions.

Thank you.  I think my next video will be a nice drone video of Costa Rica as these video's are way more difficult to create.  Drone videos you add some nice music to some beautiful shots.   easy right? lol. not really but hey.
