Thanks for that.
It will be delivered today (at least, that is what I think, since Eindhoven is close to Nuth).

I bought a P4P from the UK DJI online store from the very first batch released back in November 2016. Took 3 days to be received which I thought at the time was a little too good to be true (this was the period when the original Mavic Pro was taking three MONTHS to ship). Unboxed it and everything looked great. Spoke too soon, the charger starting making a very high pitch buzz and the IMU was, well, broke! Errors on every calibration. Didn't help that three days later my wife went into labour with our first and only baby!
Eventually raised a ticket and it took 4 weeks to be returned. DOA unit out of the box. The replacement was brand new and not a refurb (as you'd expect) and was flawless but didn't actually get to fly it until the 2017 new year bank holiday weekend!
That is when I made the decision to only buy drones in person from an authorised dealer and just as well as I had two DOA Mavic's last year and returned them both to Apple on the same day as being purchased for immediate refunds.
My MPP from Jessops and the MA from Apple have both been flawless out of the box though - we live and learn.

That's very true, just got to find an outlet here that sells DJI products and has a good returns policy lol

I use Apple for DJI drone purchases all the time now mate - 2 week return policy, no questions asked, even if you simply don't like it in the first 14 days you'll get every penny back within 24 hours of returning it and immediate, unconditional replacement in the first 30 days. Had my MA 15 days now so it's clearly a keeper and no faults after 29 flights

I have searched Ireland for an apple store and go figure all I found was resellers no apple stores that I know of.

So far had no issues with DJI and generally I can buy and have it delivered in 6 days, might give Harvey Norman a try and they sell DJI drones.... all of them lol from sparks to inspires ohhhh happy days lol

Always best to buy in person where you can mate - check their return policy before you buy - some resellers simply return the package to DJI and if that’s the case you’re better off buying directly from the online store

UPS has special ways I believe.
My package took a less optimal route I would say (to Amsterdam).
But somebody more clever than me will have figured out what is the best way....

If I would have the money to spend on brand new that would exactly be my path.
Only buy from local resellers

Nothing worse than buying an expensive piece of tech in good faith and the thing is broke out the box adding to the fact you then need to ship it yourself to another country - infuriating is an under statement! Once bitten, twice shy n' all that!

Yup, just checked, Harvey Norman according to the sales rep would send it back to DJI and not refund. It wouldn't go back to DJI until one of the in store HN specialists had verified it needed a repair prior to sending off, ahhh hello I don't think so, not as long as my bottom still points downwards.

DJI take on average a week to deliver orders once payment verified, so for me best way to go.  Tried and tested DJI get my vote.

DJI should consider themselves lucky they don't have a repair facility local to me here in Ireland, I would have been in the car knocking on their door and hand delivering.  And once repaired collected personally lol

Yep, unless the reseller has a top notch return policy (like Apple UK) then best to use DJI online store. I use it to buy accessories and my credits from the forum massively discount the purchase too. I’ve had batteries arrive within 48 hours of placing the order and nothing I have bought has been faulty - since the P4P 18 months ago.

I would sooner drop off and collect, couriers are not the best option, van to van being thrown around isn't ideal for sure.

Now there's an idea DJI a drop off centre for users to hand deliver for repairs
