Can someone at DJI advise if we are able to have two different versions of Assistant 2 on the same PC. If someone has the new P4Pro V2.0 as well as the old P4Pro or a Mavic then you will need the two different versions of the Assistant 2 software. Just wondering if that will cause any problems.

DJI, I would really like a response.
Or is there anyone running 2 versions of Assistant 2 on the same PC?

     A while back I tried to run it on my PC and the new version overwrote the old one.  Since I wanted the new one anyway, it was not problem.  But, I was hoping to keep the old one in case I ever needed it.  Never have needed it.

     As a back-up plan, I did plan to save the download for two or three versions of Assistant 2 in a folder in File Explorer and then delete and install as needed.  But again, I never had to.  I have almost all the software I have used saved going all the way back to the Phantom 2.  But, why bother, we have PhantomHelp.com.

     As an alternative, I was going to try to install off of two different hard drives if I ever needed it.  Again, never needed it.  What I really think is I am just getting too OLD!

Thanks for that, I had a feeling that might happen.
I was looking at buying the new P4Pro V2 but I still have the old P4Pro and a Mavic so I am not sure how I would get around this.

Aloha Jenee,

     You can always install and use one, then uninstall and install the other, then vice verse.  If you have to.  Make sure the uninstalls and installs are complete though.  You are usually queried about that in the process.

Yes, there is a different version of Assistant 2 for the P4Pro V2.  You need to download it from the V2.0 downloads page and it is only for the V2.0

I think the main reason is because of firmware updating. If you have a look at the new manual which covers all the P4Pro series, the P4Pro V2.0 is able to update the firmware in both the RC and drone together using the Assistant 2 software of DJI GO 4.

Sorry for this. Currently, the P4P V2.0 has its own DJI Assistant 2. Our engineers are still working on this and would like to merge them into one as well. Appreciate your patience.
