I was wondering which memory cards are the best for my Mavic Air? I’ve got a sandisk extreme pro for my GoPro but when I tried it in the drone last night, it seemed pretty slow between taking photos and being ready for the next shot.

Any advice before I waste money on something really bad?

I use the SanDisk Extreme Pro V30 A1 32gb (have 3 of them) - they work perfectly on the MA.

I have recently bought the "SanDisk microSDHC Extreme 32 GB 100MB/s CL10". Works perfect for me and if i remember correctly this is one of the recommendations of DJI.

That’s the extreme plus in your photo BTW - the Pro version is black.

I have the 64 gb Extreme Plus Sandisk Mavic Air which works flawlessly.  Hey ACW have you tried the 128 gb card or is doesn't work?

It is compatible but I prefer 32gb cards in case they break, get lost etc then I have a spare.

Basically anything with the U3 and/or V30 logos should be fine, but I'd recommend SanDisk.

This works great, but format to ExFat via drone:

Sandisk extreme pro 32gb and 64gb here too. They work like a charm. Fantastic cards.

Yeah, surprised that doesn't work though as the level up from the extreme. Try the pro, loads rate it as the best. You'll need faster read/write speeds due to the higher video bit rate of 100MBPS.

I got the SanDisk Extreme PLUS 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Card - SDSQXBG-128G-GN6MA (3 of them actually) and am pretty happy with the speed and capacity. They go for $100 each.

I’m from the UK  and the original memory card i was using was coming up on my mavic air as being too slow for 4K recording, I then purchased this one from Amazon and it works flawlessly and i do not get any messages about it being too slow.For what its worth it even has a picture of a drone on the outside of the packet to indicate it is a card that is fit for use with drones.

The picture of a drone is just so they can charge more for it. As you probably know, there are some rubbish drone cameras out there, so the picture is no help.
Only the Class the card is in helps you get the right one for your particular drone.
Always buy from the quality manufacturer, like Sandisk, even through Amazon or similar.
Did you know that the reject cards that do not meet the manufacturers standards are bought up by wise-guys and sold as the real article. Very often, they work very well, but you might not be lucky.
