Hi,

Currently, my spark got crashed I have a warranty. AC front arms broke I got following errors ( screenshot). Today I got repair bill of %11 euros. I get a new spark with remote for 480 Euros.
Is this some kind of Joke by DJI?
Does anybody have a similar experience from DJI repair service? Even with damage aircraft was getting connected.   I feel this is ******** and they are just charging randomly.

Wow, now I've seen everything.  Your spark is totaled.  Tell dji and a new spark should be on the way. Goodluck

Warranty doesn't cover crashes, no warranty does, that's normal. And your Spark is simply "totalled", as they say in the car business: the repair costs are higher than its residual value.  How is this DJI's fault?

P.S: I see that you have a VAT of 21%, that doesn't help either.

Always remember that DJI would want to avoid doing services once the product is sold becos it takes a lot of money including labor, storage space and time to service a damaged SPARK unit. I would suggest buying the parts and service it outside through an electronic service outlet.

Pari, I looked into your case and found that the crash was not under warranty. If you want to buy a new spark instead of repairing the spark, you can refuse to repair the drone. We will send your drone back. Any doubt, please contact us.

Normally when crashing the front left arm, it breaks, and goes inwards and rips the gimbal/camera feed cable apart(trust me i fixed 3 now) and then tou get the no immage error, air encoder error, front avoidance error, and gimbal error). But yours is the right one broken?? So could be just a busted camera all in all..the frame, i would just plastic weld... Get tour drone back, buy a new one, and keep the old for spares...motors and so on... Or try dixing it with ebay parts..

If product is in warranty , isn't it that DJI service repair center should check flight log /black box thoroughly to identify the cause of crash?  aircraft was out of control in P GPS mode, it drifted away, unfortunately i forgot to download the logs and sent it to repair because i thought repair price would be fair enough and not more than the new one.

Sorry dont know about that.. But if they claim it is not a waranty fix, then you are out of luck..

Well then send them the logs and explain your story a bit more. If they don't know any information about the flight they'll just assume user error and send you the bill. Tell them you want to update the case with more information and you'd like an analysis of the flight records/data.
